  • Such a wonderful dining experience! The sommelier/waiter selected perfect pairings for each dish this season! Friendly explanations and visits from the proprietor/chef to explain each course as it was served: drawing inspiration from his childhood and the local “fruits of nature”! We were prepared to spend a bit of ¥¥¥ as it was a special occasion. Be sure to get the wine pairing for a top class meal!

  • 【薪火で焼き上げる肉と四季の食材で“熊本”を表現する一夜】 今回は antica locanda MIYAMOTO さんへ。 薪火で仕上げる牛肉と、熊本の四季折々の恵みをイタリアの感性で構成したコース。 “熊本を旅する皿”という言葉がぴったりの内容でした。 最初は 本日のシャルキュトリ からスタート。 唐津の洞窟でじっくり熟成させたハムやサラミに、とうもろこし・太刀魚などの季節の食材が組み合わさる一皿。 レバー系も出てくるので苦手な方は注意ですが、香りとコクの深さが印象的。 前菜を挟みつつ進むメインは 鹿児島黒毛和牛の経産牛 と キタノあか牛 の薪火焼き食べ比べ。 経産牛ってあまり食べる機会がないけど、赤身にすっと旨味がのった上品な味わい。 個人的には黒毛の深みあるコクが好みでした。 途中にはイタリア屋台を思わせる カチュッコ や ピスタチオ、三奈木砂糖、栗を使った甘味など、 トスカーナの香りを熊本の食材で再構築したような流れも面白い。 終盤は カツサンド→レバーカツ→炭水化物ゾーン という満足度の高い構成。 ゆっくり語らいながら締めまで楽しめる、大人向けの“熊本 × イタリアン”体験でした。

The food was some of the best we'd ever had and highlighted the local ingredients of Kumamoto with skill and creativity thanks to Chef Miyamoto (the hamburg, wagyu, and dessert were our favourites!). Equally important, our waiter, Keisuke, worked hard to make our experience special but also informative. He explained everything in English as best as he could and was extremely attentive. Thank you Keisuke for making our night perfect. To all those reading this, I highly recommend Antica Locanda! You will not be disappointed.

  • 3回目の利用です。 阿蘇のあか牛・草原牛を食べたくて、台湾人のお客様をお連れして伺いました 急な連絡・予約にも関わらず、ご対応いただきとても楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。ありがとうございました。 当日に料理で出してくださる、あか牛草原牛の熟成肉の紹介も丁寧に分かりやすく説明してくださいました。 そして、熟成する期間によって、香りや肉質など違うということも学びました。 30日間と70日間熟成したお肉のお味は感動しました 初めて食べる熟成肉に台湾人のお客様もどのように表現したら良いか難しいが深い味わいがあると感嘆していました。薪をつかって焼き上げるシェフのこだわりの焼き方やお料理一つ一つに心と技術がともなっていて、幸せな時間を共有することができました。 初めての方にはお口に合うかどうか、好みはわかれるかもしれませんが、気になる方や牛肉お好きな方には一度召し上がっていただきたいです。 牛肉が食べれない方には、別メニューで対応してくださるなど、お心遣いに感謝いたします。 次回は、もっと早目に予約させていただき、また違ったお料理を楽しみたいです。 特別なお食事になること間違いないです。 スタッフに方の笑顔とスマートな接客にも感謝しております。
